LATITUDE® 5.0 Remote Monitoring

The LATITUDE 5.0 Communicator and associated software for remote monitoring of COGNIS® CRT-D and TELIGEN® ICDs have been approved by the FDA. Patients in the United States who have received a COGNIS or TELIGEN device may now experience the benefits of LATITUDE remote monitoring. Communicators have been shipped to all COGNIS and TELIGEN patients enrolled in the LATITUDE system. Software Release Approved and Implemented

A programmer software release is now available for COGNIS CRT-D and TELIGEN ICD, useful for both new implants and for devices already implanted. Enhancements include:

Allows users to better detect the presence of RF telemetry communication between programmer and devices in challenging clinical environments.
