Boston Scientific CRM has initiated a software update for all Model 3120 ZOOM LATITUDE programmers. Upon first interrogation of a COGNIS® or TELIGEN® device by a programmer with new software installed, the programmer will automatically program the Respiratory Sensor to Off, and it can no longer be turned On. This programmer software update is being introduced in response to a product advisory communicated on March 23, 2009.
Installation of new programmer software (Model 2868, Version 1.05) can be confirmed by viewing the "About" screen from the "Utilities" tab. Additional information, including a software release memo and an updated advisory summary are available at bostonscientific.com/ppr.
